Multi-Medium Media Planner/Buyer

Door Number 3, a full-service indie advertising agency located in the Austin downtown area, is seeking a media planner/buyer. Candidate must be highly organized, current on marketing trends and developing technologies, and experienced in planning and buying a variety of media venues: broadcast, print, interactive, social media, etc.

Door Number 3 emphasizes a strong work/life balance, and successful team members tend to have an entrepreneurial spirit. Must think in terms of creative solutions, be an advocate for winning strategies, handle multiple clients nimbly, and be willing to get your hands dirty and manage projects from the ground up.

Core responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Development, presentation, implementation and management of short and long term multi-media plans
• Monitor buys and manage make-goods, optimizations and revisions as necessary
• Proactive thinking on behalf of clients
• Maintain solid working relationships with clients and internal partners
• Manage billing reconciliation, discrepancies and monthly budget reports for key accounts
• Monitoring trends in media and advertising as a whole

Qualifications:
• 4 years minimum experience working in media with advertising agency
• Experience presenting directly to C-level clients
• Strong understanding of end to end media planning/​buying process for both traditional and online media (ie: research, application of findings, planning/​negotiating media, buying process, etc.​
• Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion within established deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and Word is a must. Experience with STRATA is a plus.
